An Evening with Pacino, with famed stage and screen actor Al Pacino, will play the London Palladium for one night only on June 2.

The show promises to be a unique evening in which Pacino explores his career from that of an off-Broadway actor in the '60s to the world-renowned performer and director he is today. The evening will include a live interview, with Pacino himself projected on a "state-of-the-art large screen" to give audiences a more intimate view.

In a statement Pacino said, "I am really looking forward to coming to London. I have always felt at home there. I consider it an honor to be appearing at the Palladium and I will be glad to be back on the boards in your great city." (He should have, but didn't, continue, "and to say hello to all my little English friends.")

Al Pacino recently appeared on Broadway in David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Glengarry Glen Ross. He has won Tony Awards for his work in Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie? and The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel. He is an Oscar winner for Scent of a Woman, and he won the Emmy Award for his portrayal of Roy Cohn in HBO's miniseries version of Angels in America.
