Mommy In Dubai: Product Review: Shopping at "Mamas & Papas"

Over the weekend, mom and I did what we do best! Retail therapy!

While passing by Mamas & Papas at Mirdif City Centre, I noticed some sale items on display. "Bargain Betty" just had to have a peak!

CLOTHING FINDS!?

I have a special "style" in mind for my little man! I want him to be a little hipster, and have bit of "swagger" going on! And when I saw some of these adorable little sweaters and jackets, I needed them then and there!

? This sweater was a must! On sale for 120 AED! ? This coming December we are planning a?winter vacation with the whole family in the Alps! This knitted sweater is thickly lined with a faux sheepskin! Will surely keep him nice and warm! I adore the chunky buttons on the front paneling! Next up, this super cute tie and pen pullover?with stripy sleeves for when he is 6 months old=) Ohhh I can already picture him in it this fall! On sale for 90 AED! And lastly...my mom and I could not resist! This limited edition brown tweed jacket! Check out the appliques on the sleeves! So "Little Man"!

SLEEPING NECESSITY:

What do you think of this soft and comfy elephant dreampod design? On sale for 120 AED! It even comes with a handy room thermometer! This is another must have product on my list for any child! My daughter has been using one since birth!

PLAYTIME MUST HAVE:

Upon checkout, I remembered something I really needed!?A playmat! How could I forget? One of the last items on my "to buy list"! My daughter received one when she was born, but it is far?too "girly" to be passed on to him! Found this "Babyplay-Coconut Band Playmat & Gym"! Love the colorfulness, attached toys, music, and light?developmental features!?

Why I Think Playmats Are Important For Babies:

• Hanging toys encourages hand and eye co-ordination
• Music?stimulates hearing
• Mirrors help develop self awareness?
• Cushion for tummy time and strengthening neck muscles
• Sqweakers, crinkly areas, and toys for fun sensory play

You can even machine wash it! It has 3 stages of use 0+months for when baby is on his/her back and can play with toys hanging from arches, then 6+months which you can then remove the arches and let baby have tummy time using the soft supporting pillow, and 9+months as an activity mat!
